"This apartment was an absolute delight to stay in. The bedrooms were spacious and beautifully presented, the bathrooms were well equipped (we especially liked the dressing room next to the main bathroom) and the kitchen and balcony were brilliant for early evening drinks and socialising! We had 12 people staying in our apartment and it was never too crowded.
The owner was really kind and welcoming, even walking with some of our group to show us the local shops and restaurants. One member of our group is disabled and has difficulty walking long distances so the location of the apartment was ideal - although the steps after a long days sighting-seeing are knackering!
I have been to Florence a number of times and this is definitely the best place we have ever stayed in!"

"L'appartement, situé dans un immeuble de caractère, est très agréable et confortable, équipés avec tout ce qui est nécessaire pour un séjour en famille. Les lits étaient fait pour notre arrivée sans compter que nous avions quelques provisions dans le frigidaire. Franchement bravo, nous aurions des leçons à prendre nous français...Cet appartement a certainement était refait depuis peu ( matériaux neufs et de qualité ), il est de plus meublé avec beaucoup de goût ( petits meubles anciens, bonne literie ). Le seul reproche, s'il en est un, est qu'il manque un peu de lumière dans la pièce principale; mais nous étions là pour visiter la ville donc c'est un détail peu significatif. Géographiquement, il est situé un peu loin du centre de Florence ( la voiture est nécessaire ). La quartier est peu bruyant, il y a un petit marché plusieurs matins dans la semaine juste en face de l'immeuble. Centre commercial à proximité. Très franchement, nous sommes ravis de notre choix et de notre séjour en général. Florence est une ville superbe à découvrir.

Tal como ustedes saben, eramos un grupo bien numeroso, ya que realizamos éste viaje en compañia de nuestros 5 hijos que van desde los 25 hasta los 15 años de edad. Quedamos encantados con la casa arrendada en Florencia en las inmediaciones de la Piazza Michelangelo. Para nosotros era la cuarta vez que visitamos esa ciudad y primera con los niños, razón por la cual en ésta oportunidad optamos por algo más familiar que un hotel. La atención recibida tanto en las consultas realizadas en la parte previa a la contratación del arriendo, como la recepción y disponibildad en cuanto llegamos a Florencia, no puede haber sido de la mejor calidad. El apartamento, estupendo, súper cómodo y muy acogedor, en donde lo encontrado no tenía diferencias con respecto a lo ofrecido on-line.
Felicitaciones y solo una sugerencia para futuros clientes: Avisar que el estacionarse en la calle no está permitido, salvo que se pague el parqueo del coche. Tal como existe un sistema para conectarse a Internet mediante el prepago del tiempo deseado, podría existir algún distintivo al momento de ingresar que lo acredite como residente temporal, con fecha de ingreso y de salida, ya que mi desconocimiento me significó dos infracciones.

"El apartamento que disfrutamos en nuestras vacaciones fue en Florencia en la Piazza Santa Croce 12, y tengo que admitir que tanto la localizacion como el piso eran inmejorables, aunque la dotacion del servicio de comida era muy pobre (faltaban platos; cuchillos que cortasen; cuchillos de cocina, exprimidor de frutas, rascador de queso, paños de cocina, mantel... inexistentes; cafetera rota....). Tengo que destacar que el trato recibido por la Señorita Sibilla fue esquisito."

This was a family vacation to visit with my daughter who is attending a post graduate program at SACI in Florence.
We stayed in the apartment for 3 weeks and were very pleased. This apartment is extremely well located. While only a few yards from the Duomo, it is in a "quiet" spot, side slightly away from the main congregation of people. I would recommend it for anyone looking to be in the Center of Florence, needing accommodations for 4-6 people.

Il soggiorno è stato molto piacevole in quanto l'appartamento situato in una palazzina settecentesca non ha deluso in niente, anzi è stato in grado di risvegliare una semplicità che ai giorni nostri e fin troppo data per scontato, per chi ama uno stile piuttosto radicato nel tempo ma allo stesso tempo sobrio e accogliente, credo che sia l'ideale.
Per me e per i miei compagni di avventura è stato un modo piacevole per riunirci e condividere insieme la semplicità del convivere insieme un nuovo anno all'insegna dell'amicizia e dell'amore.
Sicuramente si potrebbe obbiettare sulla tecnologia presente in casa, ma a mio parere è proprio questo che lo rende speciale, ancora una volta la semplicità.
Inoltre è situato a 10 minuti da tutto ciò che vale la pena visitare in una citta come Firenze, culla dell'arte rinascimentale. Per tali motivo le rispondo con immensa cortesia e le faccio gli auguri di buone feste.

We stayed at the Via de Bastioni, Firenze, and had a wonderful time there.
Everything was as you stated in the advertisement and the apartment was even prettier than it showed in the pictures. There were 7 of us and it was very roomy. The house was well equipped; bed linens and towels were of very nice quality. The inside was recently redone and the kitchen even had a dishwasher! The bathrooms and showers were great. I would highly recommend it for a family or friends. Your agent was most helpful and friendly. We were there for pleasure and to watch our daughter run in the Florence Marathon. It was a short walk into town along the Arno. The view from the top of the Piazza Michelangelo was amazing! We loved our stay in Florence and the apartment was the best way for us to be together, so much nicer than staying in separate hotel rooms. We would stay there again! I also highly recommend using www.Halldis.com for vacation rentals. The staff is excellent and very helpful.

Die Ferienwohnung liegt am Piazza Santo Spirito in sehr schöner, ruhiger und trotzdem lebendiger Lage (tägl. Markt). Die Bar im gl. Hause ist zu empfehlen. Aufenthaltsgrund war ein Familienurlaub über 4 Tage. Die Wohnung geräumig und die Küche sehr gut eingerichtet, kleine Mängel bezüglich-Sauberkeit, fehlende Handtuchhalter im Bad und Schließung einzelner Türen - waren nicht wesentlich.

The apartment was great, it is well stocked, very nicely finished, felt very safe and in a quiet area. Being out of the 'tourist' area, but close enough to walk to the 'sites' meant that at the end of the day it was great to go back to, relax on the balcony with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine in quiet surroundings and enjoy being in Florence. Being close to a market meant that self catering was no problem, despite our very poor Italian, and there is a very good bread shop just arround the corner. Lots of restaurants within easy walking distance. One in particular, (a bit of free advertising for them) Dantes, the food was great, the staff wonderful, made you feel like one of the family.
Your agent in Florence is a very friendly, competent, helpful lady. Supplied us with lots of information on where we could find the food market, supermarkets, bus stops, all the little things that you need to help find your way around a new city.
(...) I had been to Italy some 35 years ago and have always wanted to come back. (...)
We would have no hestitation in recomending Halldis, and 'our' Florience aparment, to anyone who was looking for accomodation during their travels.
